SetBreaker

SetBreaker is a fun, easy to play, yet still challenging, slightly addictive, perhaps even a bit educational game.  It takes a quick mind and quick fingers and maybe even a little luck.

Gameplay is very simple, you will see four words or phrases or groups of symbols on the screen.  Usually three of these items belong in the same set, the forth one days not.  Simply deduce which one of the four items doesn’t belong with the others (i.e. is the SetBreaker) and touch it.  The faster you touch the SetBreaker the more you score.  See simple!

Of course it’s not quite all THAT simple.  Every once in a while (more or less) you will find either ALL four items belong in the same set or NONE of the items belong together.  If they all belong together press ALL (asap) to score.  If not of them belong together either press NONE or shake your iPhone (or Pad) back in forth (like saying NO) for extra points.

Oh, if you find yourself really stumped you can press the HINT button and get a little hint at a slight point penalty.

Games may be played for two, three or five minutes.  Or if you are feeling really lucky and smart and quick you can play UNLIMITED which means the game keeps going until you press a wrong button. 

Questions are generated randomly from a large database of thousands of items.  We will release periodic updates with more questions.  Some questions are trickier than others but you shouldn’t have to look all that hard to make a connection.
